BRI recently hosted a production crew from the BBC's "Deadly" series including celebrity Steve Backshall. The crew tagged along with researchers on the mountain lion project in the Davis Mountains.

Thomas Janke is a graduate research assistant from Granger, Texas studying desert bighorns.  Thomas, along with BRI and TPWD, are restoring sheep to Big Bend Ranch State Park.  The translocated sheep were fitted with GPS collars prior to release and Thomas is monitoring their movements in the park and across the border to Mexico.
